Uncertain start

Plastixal Kołakowski Mariusz company was established in 2006. The manufacturing plant was situated in a small hall rented in Piątnica near Łomża. There was only me, my wife, my family and five experienced workers, two of whom are still working in Plastixal.

A young company without financial basis. This is not going to work. I used to hear these words very often. However, the number of orders was increasing month after month and so was the number of our workers. After one year since starting our business the company was employing 13 members of staff. Luckily for us the gloomy predictions did not came true.

Rapid progress

The year 2009 was the turning point in the company’s history. Following the advice given by our customers  we decided to start aluminium manufacturing. The next important step, if not the most important one, was the start of export business to France. It was the beginning of our expansion on the European Union market.

Taking risks

To meet the new challenges, a larger production area was essential. In 2010 our company purchased a property with buildings needing renovation in Stare Bożejewo near Wizna. Alongside the real estate we bought a few high-tech machines for PVC windows manufacture. In 2011 the whole production was moved to the new location and in 2014 new office space was built with social facilities. However, we new that our production area is becoming to small, a new warehouse solved the problem only for a while.

Constant development

At the moment there are over 100 employees in Plastixal. Our company is still growing by another 3000m2 and we are already awaiting the delivery of innovative machinery park. Our products are supplied to many EU countries and also to the USA, Algeria and Norway. We are proud that highly demanding markets such as France, Belgium, Germany and Great Britain perceive Plastixal as a reliable, worth recommendation business partner.
